ERROR: File Backups\ serial\serial\orig.bin does not exist!

I have tried iPrep and Xtreme and every time I try to read the firmware it says no drive detected and the error in the thread post. I do not understand what people mean by hexedit and I am confused as to how I can fix this. Please any help that anyone can provide!!!

Have you tried to use xtreme boot maker to make your boot disk? It should hexedit the dos app for you automatically. Hexediting is basically reprogramming the file to work with your sata chipset.

BTW: What sata chipset are you using in your computer?
