Hey guys, newbie member here, this seems to be the best forum Ive seen, so organized and lots of members :D
I just got a new ps2 last week, a white "fat" ps2 SCPH 50000 model from Japan. Had it modded with a matrix infinity 1.93 chip and have been playing games both original and backup with no problems until now.
The problem is some of my game dvds dont "work" properly anymore at random, for example the backup tekken 5 I have just sticks at the NAMCO screen, a backup tombraider Anniversary doesnt boot anymore, An original Tekken Tag disc I have has freezes on the character selection screen and a downloaded prince of persia two thrones randomly freezes now. but with several resets it loads and plays ok only to freeze again and not load after a few hours or minutes.
What to do? My unit is very clean no dust and always well ventilated. the dvds have no major scratches and they all worked fine until today. Please help
