XBMC: Weird Networking Issue!

Hi,

I recently bought a used XBOX with hopes of wirelessly streaming video from my PC's shared folder. Everything is going fine with only 1 problem, the system only gets an IP when I switch the Network Settings in XBMC and UnleashX from DEFAULT to DHCP and vice versa. It won't obtain an IP when I first start the xbox. After I swap the settings, no reboot needed and I will get an IP.

Here's my setup:

SYSTEM:
XBOX v1.6
Softmodded using Splinter Cell (Dual boot setup)
Replaced UnleashX with XBMC as Dash
Latest XBMC from T3CH (XBMC-SVN_2007-12-23_rev11071-T3CH)

Network:
XBOX -> Wireless Game Adapter (Netgear WGE111) -> Wireless AP -> Router
Router is set to DHCP
Wireless AP security is WPA
Netgear WGE111 is fixed IP
XBOX is set to DHCP or Default(Dashboard)

I know the networking setup is good because I was using a VoIP box and a Video Phone with the Netgear WGE111 without any problems (they get IP on startup and obtain IP automatically). But I don't know why XBOX won't get the IP on initial boot. I've tried plugging XBOX directly into router and XBOX obtains IP immediately.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
