Dont know why it wont but when i try logging into my old accout i created when i first got my ps3 it give me

"you cannot sign in using another user's sign-in ID (email address)"

don't know what that means but doesn't seem to makes since. does this basically mean i cant log on to that name anymore?

Just go start a new user on the far left. Then, when you're setting up an account for that user go to like (use already made account). It'll ask for email and password and then you're done.
