to burn xbox360 games do i need the pioneer dvd burner to burn games, and do i need a samsung dvd drive to rip xbox 360 games.

any double layer dvd burner should be able to burn games.
I'm not sure about ripping xbox 360 games, but i think you need to buy a specific samsung dvd drive or an external drive(with the hotswapping method) to rip an original 360 game.

you can use any dvd burner that burns dual layer media. people tend to like pioneer, nec, and sony.

yes, you need a specific (there are 4 models, i believe) samsung drive flashed with the kreon firmware to rip 360 games. read the stickies and do a search on these forums to find the models numbers and tutorials on how to rip and burn games.

I highly recommend the pioneer 112D. I use an external one with Verbatim DLs and clone CD and so far no coasters with 30 burned games.
