I searched around a bit, but I haven't really heard of anyone having this problem, so I thought I would put it out there and see if someone might have an idea or two.

I currently have a psp slim FW 3.71 m33.

I was totally excited when I found out that the psp was going to be able to handle higher quality video and, to adjust, I started re-ripping my DVD collection into that H.264 720x480 format from the lower quality 480x272 mpeg4's I already had. I was really excited to use these on the slim so that I could output them to a big TV and still fee like I was watching a DVD.

I used DVDFab Platinum to rip them. Soon after though I realized that they were skipping. At first I thought it was a problem with my computer or the software, but I soon realized that the files only skip on my psp. They play fine on my computer or elsewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be? Or, do you have any recommendations for software that can successfully rip my DVD's in a way that these higher quality files will still play on my psp?

Any thoughts or suggestions are totally appreciated!!
