I just got my Eurovox TX 2008 Model today (this one - http://www.euromax.tv/images/tx_teaser.jpg) to work with my Chorus and it scanned and picked up 90 channels no problem which is great. Now like my previous experience with a Digivox, when it said "bad or scrambled channel"... I just turned on the EMU and it's grand. A few questions...
1 - How many channels should I get with Chorus MMDS?
2 - How do I go about turning on the EMU? I can't find out how anywhere...
3 - I read that the EMU is always on on my box, if so, do I have to upgrade my firmware? I'm currently on version EVX TX TX_11_11_07
Thanks all!

Sounds about the right amount
2 - How do I go about turning on the EMU? I can't find out how anywhere...
To turn EMU on press menu, language settings, type 1968 on remote and enable emulator. Press blue button to save and exit. Exit again to view.
3 - I read that the EMU is always on on my box, if so, do I have to upgrade my firmware? I'm currently on version EVX TX TX_11_11_07
You can find the lastest firmware 23/11/07 in the bottom of my post "Eamo's Library in the Eurovox> EV MMDS TX folder
Thanks all!

Cheers for the quick reply.
Cool good stuff on the channels.
Thats the thing, when I enter my menu there is no language options, in the backround is a picture of Earth with the options....
- Installation
- Parental Control
- Channel Edit
- User Setup
- Factory Setting
- System Information
Now thats the same as the Digivox menu expect I can't enter the system information, all that comes up when I highlight it is the firmware version.

When I go down to System Information, nothing happens... it just pops up beside System Information with the firmware version. Tried entering the code you provided and all others I could find but to no avail.

And got it sorted I did.
Brought it into my brothers to use his old computer (null port) and it updated the firmware no problem, no issues like I've read about on the forums.
I now have 83 crystal clear channels including my most wanted... Setanta ;-)
One final question, if I cancel my Chorus, will I loose the feed from the wall? Please note that when I got it installed, the just plugged in the box and that's it... the MMDS was already working so I believe (well when I connected it to the TV directly, I got a few channels and loads of scrambled ones.
Thanks!

They need 30 days notice, and a letter with your account number to
The Retention Department,
Chorus
Roxboro Rd
Limerick
and put REF:CNX in the corner of the envelope.

do the codes on the TX do anything. i went into hidden menu and there is no emu option on it. now i know emu is on by default but should it be on that menu? also i wrote the codes down and then changed them to see would it autoroll but when i exit i still have all my channels. no matter what i do with the codes all channels stay on. i tried this on 3 tx and the same. anyone shed any light on this please

they dont update thats my point. when i changed the codes to all zero's and saved them i was still able to watch all channels. i went back in to hidden menu thinking the tx had found the proper codes but it had'nt, the ones i put in were still there. it appears the codes on the tx don't do anything.anyone???

Maybe it's because your channels are already saved with the original codes... try do an autoscan now and see how many channels you find, my guess is none.
