hi , my 360 has started having problems loading games, when i put a disc in and close the tray it says please insert original game, all my games are original and my console has never been chipped or flashed,sometimes when i try to load games it says open tray and it keeps saying this until i load a dvd then reboot and load a game but then 9 times out of ten i get the first error lol i can be trying for ages and eventually the game might load, when it does it plays without problem.
any ideas people?

your 360's dvd-drive laser might be going bad. you can call microsoft support and see if they will fix for free. i've heard they sometimes try to charge $100 if it's over 1 year old, and thus out of warranty.

otherwise, you can try to replace the laser (or just the entire drive) yourself.
