HDAdvance/Loader and Swap Magic Questions

I used to use Swap Magic to play some of my games, however, a year ago someone stepped on my Swap Magic DVD disc, and so I only have the CD disc still. Recently, I purchased a network adapter and I have a hard drive that I think I can use for the process. Now I have been told, as stated several times on the forum that you can use a swap magic disc to boot a copy of HDAdvance/HDLoader disc. Can I do that with my Swap Magic CD disc? Not the DVD disc?
