How to use Multi Disk Games with PS1 EBOOT

I have a question about multi disk games such as FF7,Legend of dragoon ect.. (all ps1 games). I hae both of them on my psp and each disk for the games has its own EBOOT.PBP file. when i finish one disk in the game i save and than exit to my PSP menu and than go into the next eboot file. however, my problem is going back to a previous disk if the game requires you too. normally with the PS1 it prompts you to insert the previous disk while it saves the current data to the temporary memory. but with the PSP you have to exit the game to get to the other eboot file witch inevidably shuts it down like you were turning it off, rather than just opening the disk tray and changing in the ps1. is there any way to do this?
