Can this Pioneer 112d be used externally?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827129007

or is there a better option for an external, I want to be able to burn 360 games (& rip if possible)

If you buy an enclosure for the drive, then you can use it externally to burn games, you can't rip games with this drive though, unless if you "wxripper" and do the hotswap method to dump the games iso, which you then have to find ss, pdi and dmi files for, and you will have to patch them to the iso you ripper before burning. I would recommend the Samsung-Thoshiba SH-D162 Drive for ripping original games, I've used it to backup many of my games.
