donewell,
Navigate through the K-Lite Codec Pack installation folder X:/Program Files/K-Lite codec pack/Media Player Classic/; locate and delete MPLAYERC.INI.

Tried what you said and nothing would work after that, so i restored it from recycle bin. Then i went to options and in the out put i changed the realmedia and quicktime out puts to direct x9 from system defaults and it now plays MOV.'s But i still can't find out how to make reopen to the size i like .
Thanks

That's odd. What preferred size, full-screen?

Not full screen, i would like it to reopen in the size i stretch to. If i open it by itself and resize it , it will keep opening that size, but as soon as i try to play a file it reverts back to the small size and i have to strech it while i'm watching it. My windows media player always opened in the size i last used it. But i have upraded to ie 7 and media 11 and now a lot of files will no longer play like they did in my old windows media player, thats why i down loade k-lite and quicktime alternative. I wish windows would still play mpeg2. Having all this other junk sucks

What version of Media Player Classic do you have? Also, if you have K-Lite Codec Pack installed you should be able to play your video files in WMP with no problem, yes?.

Try uninstalling K-Lite Mega Pack first, and then download/install FFDShow here.
