Well i bought a new xbox off ebay they said all that was wrong was the av port so i fixed that got it working fine but then it turns out the drive didnt work so ok thats easy just buy a new one

but one more thing none of the updates to get me on live or nething would work at all it would just keep saying error cant update i checked the connection that was all fine but it stopped at xbox live and it didnt say nethin about being banned

as this is my second 360 as my other one got banned about 2 months ago

could someone please give me any idea's of what may be wrong of why its not updateing please ?

That's probably why they were selling it so cheap on Ebay, it didn't work.

OOOO i got the live work so im glad to know its not banned at least but

the driver is still knackerd. =(

errrm most of you will have probs seen whats wrong alot of people have had the problem when the driver makes a funny noise and says every disk is unreadable so gonna have to pay another £30 to get that fixed still tho not bad will only come up to £60 once i get the new driver =)

before you start spending more money on it, you might want to check with MS to see if its been registered or not as it may be under warranty. im not sure if it will be covered since its not the ring of death, but if need be, just wrap it in a towel and put it in a box and give the ring of death and send it back in, lol.

errm i think the warrenty void sticker is gone because my dad had to open it open it up to sort out the av at the back and that

how do u give the xbox the 3 rings neway ?

you can get warranty stickers off ebay, and i've heard that they dont always look for the warranty sticker when you send it in anyways. and just overheat the 360 to get the ring of death.
