Couple of questions ive been wondering about.

Ive just got hold of 2 PS2 slims. 1 of them working the other not.

1 - The one that isnt working boots but will not read disks, you can hear the lens making a rattling noise when trying to read disks. If i was to mod it so i can use a hdd via the network adapter would this be ok ?? or do you need the drive working ?

2 - Are the hddloader / advance disks pressed or can you use back up dvd/cd disks ?

3 - Ive got a Maxtor 20gb Hdd from a old computer, could i use this as a hdd for a while till i get a 40+ one ??
