I have the slim daxter psp i did this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
hardmoded my battery everything work fine then i fix my battery back to normal turn my psp on go to the memory stick menu choose the 3.71 M33-4 hit x but i get a The game could not be started .

u need to use the hard modded battery with the magic stick together

u dont need to go to menu just

put ms in (with the Universal unbricker v3) then put the hard modded battery in and wait for instructions

note: the hard modded battery must b a phat psp battery

I did hit X will install 2.71 M33-2 to the PSP and O will install 3.71 official firmware to the PSP after it did all that then i fix the battery now i have a firmware 3.71 then the guide says. You can now update to 3.71 M33-4 by running the 3.71 M33-4 update via Game menu memory Stick. This where im stock with thst message?

Are you sure you installed 3.71 M33-2?

Go to System Settings then System Information and double check the system software. It must say 3.71 M33-2 in order to run the 3.71 M33-4 update.

Do you have a Japanese PSP?

If so the X and O is switched and that could be the issue.

Press O to install 3.71 M33-2 and X to install 3.71 official.

Is a Slim Daxter USA PSP but the tutorial said X will install 2.71 M33-2 to the PSP and O will install 3.71 official firmware to the PSP so i hit x to install 2.71 M33-2 then when it was done hit x so the psp turn off then turn it back on hit O so the 3.71 install but on my system info just says 3.71 not 3.71 M33-2 but when i go to the memory stick menu there is the 1.50-2 and the 3.71 M33-4 but when i choose 3.71 M33-4 and hit x it says The game could not be started .

I have it working now i had to hardmod my battery again then reinstall
