SNES running slow

my SNES emulator is running slow. I have snes9x 32 or something like that. I have a mario game. when I play it, it goes slow and lags. I have psp 3.71 M33-4 CFW fat.

Try DGEN 1.70 It's much cleaner and runs better. Also, ensure that the speed of your PSP is set to 333MHz. Boot into recovery and set speed of XMB and ISO/UMD.

You can also adjust the frame rate or FPS in the main menu of the snes emulator if your games are lagging...(access the menu by pressing both L&R trigger buttons) I believe the setting is in the video section of the menu.

DGEN is a Sega MS/Genesis emulator BTW-and while it is indeed a great emulator, you cant really get down with Super Mario World on it..

DGEN - Genesis. That's right. Sorry, I've got 4 emulators on my PSP, it can get confusing.
