Hi all, i know this is not a pure cd-r question but i dont know where else 2 ask it?
I have a floppy of a program called PC-Check by a company called "Eurosoft" a diagnostic program 4 in depth m/board,memory,etc checks, the floppy has some form of protection on it but clony xxl will only attempt 2 read from cd/virtual drives as will nero, alcohol, etc when making an image file.
The floppy is bootable and is inserted on start-up like an windows start-up disk, i have tried making a boot cd with nero, this boots ok but will not run and says pc check must b run from drive A on a disk which is not write protected,which of course a cd-r is as far as the floppy drive is concerned, this i now realise (i know i'me a bit slow on the uptake) is because it writes log files of its findings 2 the floppy 4 later viewing.
Does any1 know of a way i can make a copy of it or any program which includes the facilty 2 read floppy disk protection? making another floppy seems the only way rather than a bootable cd-r as it needs 2 b able 2 write 2 it 2 make log files.
