I am running an HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop 2004 model with 512 memory, AMD 64 processor, with Windows XP Home Edition, and I'm wondering about any advantages and drawbacks of installing the 3.0 .NET framework. I need it to install the latest version of XviD4PSP. Am I putting my laptop at risk, or is 3.0 harmless?
