I put games on my 8GB and I love it....

16GB is ultimately Overkill for games but for those out there who like to store Video/Photo/Music or use thier PSP's as Alternative HDD's, this will be too awesome :D

I have two 4's and an 8gb. Also a 1gig MMS. 8 are awsome and with the intro of the 16 hopefully the firmware updates will include a higher readable capacity so i can mod my PSP to take a 32gb or 64gb flash card.

But with the 16gb like LadyBugM said "overkill" , you can have like 5gb set apart for music and movies and pictures and the other 10 gb for games.

And thats good for me and don't mind the price since i will use it alot. Any body else going to get it.

And i heard that the 8gb had problems with the psp like corrupting data and needing to reformat the memory stick to work right. Has any one have problems with their 8gb?

I got an 8GB MS not too long ago, and I love it so far!

A few days after I got my 8Gb MS, I found out they were making the 16GB lol, and I had a feeling they were gonna make it too haha

So far, I've got 6 PSX games (MegaMan X4/X5/X6, Lunar Silver Star Story w/ popsloader multidisc feature for both discs, and the first Tenchu) 2 PSP games (Silent Hill Origins and Shinobido: Tales of The Ninja), NES/SNES/GBA/Genesis ROMS, 18 videos (mostly clips but with 1 TV show episode), 9 music albums and I've still got 3.2 gigabytes left. It's totally worth it for me, not sure if I'll be buying the 16GB though, that's a monster of a memory stick! :D

i heard from people that apparently tested this 16gig sony MS and they say it has been programmed to ignore the iso files where the iso/cso games are stored.. so you cant load the programs or games.. could this be a security measure sony has taken to?

I guess psp homebrew has to think of a different way to read off iso if the iso folder isnt able to.

i just hope not... 16gig of games and music = ultimate portable device

Or at least until the 32gb :)

This is a smart move from Sony lol. It'd save them money. I have a feeling that we'll find a way to get around it however. Very few things related to the PSP are unhackable. I think it would be fun trying to find out to how to run ISO's on this :P
