What?

I must be going crazy or something....

this is not news >.>

They already sell these versions at radio shack actually.

The pinnacle HDTV sticks do the exact same thing and I could have got one in october!

Is this the right article?

Pinnacle has been making USB Tuner sticks with high-def capability for a while now. I have on of these for my laptop:

Umm... I've had a USB digital TV tuner for years... So old they don't even sell it anymore, they've replaced it with a dual tuner: http://www.digitalnow.com.au/product_pages/TinyTwin.html (and that's Australian dollars delivered, so not much difference in price, and I get a 10% discount for being a return customer...)

Bundled with the USB stick is a credit card sized remote control
I'm confused as I don't see the CC remote listed on H! webpage.

I have the WinTV-HVR 950 usb tv tuner stick by Hauppage. Not sure what the "Q" is in the model number. Mine didn't come with the remote though, maybe that's what the "Q" is for. It works excellent! I use it all the time with my laptop and even comes with a tiny black antenna about 4 inches high that extends to about 20 inches. It picks up the HD digital signals perfectly!! Mine cost $28.00 after mail-in rebate. It normally costs between $60.00 to $85.00 depending on if it's on sale at Fry's Electronics.

This is certainly not the "world's first" stick tuner. Not even Hauppage's first. Sorry. These have been around for quite some time now. Here's another pinnacle tuner:

The HVR-950 was announced at the 2007 CES not 2008.

The Q must be the smaller remote. Not quite a "first".

I love this. I will go out and get one when it for sure comes to Australia. I find for lappys and desktops for that matter the less room it takes up the better. I am going to send this article to my cousin he will love this new innovation in this field. I just wish this was out before he bought his tv card.
