What to look for when buying Wii, and a few questions?

I am going to buy a Wii very soon and am planning on modding asap. I just have few questions.

1. Mainly, Should I look for a special Note or Serial Or thing on the box? The Easier one to mod?
2. With wii modded can I Play Gamecube Backups?
3. Possible Multi-Games in one Disk?
4. Easiest/Most compatible/Most features modchip out there?
5. Anything to lookout with firmware?
6. Can I use internet?
7. Emulation?
8. Warnings?

I'd really appreciate it if someone took there time to help me with these questions. I understand that some of these questions may of been answered in multiple threads, but I'd like a direct answer.

1. To find one that's easy to mod might be very difficult so I'd consider buying pre-modded unless u are good with a soldering iron.
2. Yes

4. Depends on the Wii - older ones are easier to fit and cheaper.
5. Read all the stickies in this section and get as clued up as poss - no short cut to being informed and understanding everything.
6. Yes - You can browse using the opera browser available online via your Wii for a cost of 500 Wii points which can be purchased for a few dollars/pounds/euros.
7. Emulators for the GC run on the Wii - dunno what exactly cos I have other ways to emulate and the Wii is not summat I can be bothered to run other stuff on when I have loads of Wii titles.

I understand that everybody wants quick easy fixes when it comes to being clued up but I, like many others, have spent a lot of time reading up on stuff in order to make sure I know what I want to know and that's the ONLY way - no easy peasy "direct answers" ;)
