Curious about DMS4 E.Z.I S.E. Lite or Pro

Has anybody used the DMS4 E.Z.I. S.E. Lite or Pro solderless mod's? Looking for a chip to play backups PS1 and PS2.
I'm a little concerned about soldering it myself. Did a PS1 before but this is I'm sure different.
Let me know what you think about these two and which one is best.

I got the DMS4 E.Z.I. S.E. Pro and i haven tried it yet. It is solderless but i have a ps2 v13 so i have to instal a neofix and do some precise soldering and I have never solder anything.

As far as I know, you only need a fix for V9/V10/V12. You should be in the clear on the laser fix.

the neofix i got says its for v12-v14 but if i dont need it will that dammage my ps2?
