I got a laugh out of the HDDVD no-show at CES. The fact that they spent a fortune on advertising at the event only to not show demonstrates to all of us that they have given up. If they were truly serious about staying in the game they would have kept at it.

HDDVD is a dead format and it will be wise if Paramount and Universal follow suit as soon as they can.

BTW all that received an HDDVD player for Christmas might as well return them while they still can.
