Well I have Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii, and I think it is pretty good... Although it doesn't seem to have as much downloadable support as Rock Band.

I've been thinking about getting the Rock Band set for my PS3, but with a fairly pricy cost of $200, I was wondering if it is worth it. Reviews say its good, but my friend says it's ok. $200 isn't worth ok. What's your say?

Should I stick with the Guitar Hero 3 or go all out and get Rock Band?

What I hear is Guitar Hero is better if you are going to play by yourself. Rock Band is better if you have people to play with ALL THE TIME but if you don't go cheaper and get Guitar Hero. I own GH3, but I do not own Rock Band. Your choice.

My friend owns both, he told me that playing rock band (on guitar) in the hardest difficulty is the equivalent of gh3 in hard at best. Not that much of a challenge if you ask me. I'd stick with GH3.

The guitar with rock band is horrible. It is almost as though you have to flick the strum bar to get it to register.
