i have a network adapter and a hdd, the hdd is formated and i was using it for a bit but one day it didnt work, i went to my bros room and put the hdd in his ps2 and it worked, some reason only my ps2 doesnt recognize it, i think the plug in is screwed up, does anyone know a way of fixing this? or any tips or stuff

well it sounds like the adapter on the back is messing up have you tried your adapter on your brothers because you might need a new one
