I want to know if it's possible to turn a CD-RW into a regular CD-R because i bought the wrong type and only a CD-R will work for what I'm doing, so if there's any possible way to do this w/o buying CD-R's please help.

Nope, CD-RW have a different coating than CD-R disks, this is why CD-RW disks don't work in most CD players or car stereos.
