If you like dvdfab platinum, buy it. You shouldn't be asking for a key here.

You should not be asking for any illegal keys here. IF you feel that you have no other option but to try and obtain an illegal key for any given program, this is certainly not the place to do it.
By buying a program you are helping keep a company in business, which in turn, helps you continue to back up your dvd's.
You can obtain a key for dvdfabplatinum4 here:

well guess what clonedvd 2 + anydvd{latest beta versions) will not handle MR. Woodcock.
i did the main title with dvdfab decrypter, cleaned with fixvts then burned with clonedvd 2. after ripping the main title the file is only 3.54 gigs so you don't need to shrink it

The latest stable version of AnyDVD (6303, if I'm not mistaken) couldn't handle this one (as others have said). I DLed the beta version, posted here, and already, it's gone beyond what ver. 6303 did. I envision it working.
*Edit* Successful full disc rip with the beta version 6308.
*Edit* Successful rip, burn, and playback. For what it's worth, after blanking pointless screens, trailers, and languages, the final compression rate was near 90%. Good stuff.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Used the Anydvd beta version 6.3.0.8 to rip and Clonedvd to burn. My backup was successful. Thanks for the info guys. With 4 of us in the house, we can all trash the backups and leave the original alone. :)

You don't need the Beta Version to back up this title. I had no problem backing up Mr. Woodcock. I did the movie only. Ripped with AnyDVD ripper, version 6.3.0.3 which is the latest, dumped it into shrink & burned it with good old fashion decrypter.

So far success has been with the beta version of AnyDvd, use Binkie7's post (up a little ways) to get it.
