ISO reading problem 3.71 M33-2

Hi all, my friend has a fat PSP with 3.71 M33-2, he can play UMD Discs fine, but when he tries to play an ISO or CSO file, it won't play, we've tried all the different drivers in recovery menu and even trying to use the UMD Disc so we could play the ISO/CSO file. If I change his firmware to 3.52 M33-4, should this fix the problem? If so, anything I should do before I do this? Help appreciated.

Ideally you want 3.71 m33-4 and make sure you got a legit MS

click select in ur xmb and go down to driver change it from normal to sony n----- and then click select again and then try it, im runnin 3.71m33-4 and they work great

oh and did u make sure u put the cso/iso in the ISO folder in the root of ur mem stick?
