problem with Rock Band guitar

hey guys,
i purchased Rock Band when it was launched, and have been experiencing problems with the guitar ever since i buoght the dang thing. it strums extremely hard compared to my guitar hero one. due to this strumming issue, it makes playing the game almost impossible. i have contacted the support people for the game, but have recieved no reply yet. so basically is there an easy fix to this, or should i do something else like take the whole thing back, or what?
thanks in advance.
p.s. can anyone set me in the right direction to download kreon 1.0 firmware, other than at xbins, because i've still yet to figure out how to use that darn site. i've been searching on google and cant find a link to it. thanks again.

my rock band strum bar craped out on me as well, here is a link to your answer on the guitar, i just left from there.
I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!

so did you ever get your box? becuase for some unknown reason, my process was cancelled, with notification email or anything.....what a bunch of jerks, spend 180 bucks on a POS game that doesnt work right when you buy it, and they wont repair/exchange their own crap.

my guitar broke too... had no problems with EA replacing it. make sure you went through all the steps to get the replacement guitar properly.

oh i did go through properly, even got the email stating it went through, and replacement guitar will be mailed out, but nothing came, and i found out it was cancelled. but oh well, maybe this time it will actually work.
