Okay, Firstly many Thanks to all who advised me on what I needed to do the job!..
I know have a Psp Slim Lite with Firmware 3.71
A preformatted memory Stick.
A datel battery & a sony usb cable.
if I'm right then firstly I just need to install the Datel Battery and bring the psp back to firmware 1.50?
Then I need to tranfer some custom firmware to the memory stick and run it, which will update the PSP firmware.
Question 1. Do i have the above correct?
Question 2. Can you reccomend a firmware that will do the job (mainly play homebrew games) but, keep most of the features of the psp working?
Question 3. I have read about Dark Alexs 3.73 with 1.50 kernal, would this do the job, if so can you tell me where I can download it from as I can only find the 3.73 update and not the main firmware?
Lastly is there a guide to installing firmware etc

with the slim you can't go to 1.50 you need this
