hi all i have psp with m33s 3.52-4 firmware all was working fine then for some reason after i had put a umd iso movie on that would not play it has messed something up if i press the home key to get custom firmwares menu that comes up fine but for some reason now it wont mount umd iso movies also as i scroll down the menu it skips some parts of menu

i did a recovery to 1.5 then back to 3.52 - 4 and it still is doing same thing

any help info much appreciated as its doing my head in now i have tried everything

i di notice that when i downgraded to 1.5 my background pic had gone but when i upgraded again it somehow was back ?? puzzled

i am not a techi with psp i just folow guides to upgrade downgrade so please bear this in mind with any replies

Upgrade to 3.71m33-4 its very stable and doesnt give problems.

hi thanks for replies i think i got it sorted

i am still on m33s 3.52-4

i went to recovery menu and selected advanced then format flash1 and reset settings

now i can press the psp home key and get to use everything in menu and my umd movies work fine

also the background pic has now gone for good i think i must have added the pic via some info on web about psp by editing something that put it in flash 1 think thats correct but for life of me i cant rem what i used to do as i would like to add a background pic again because now when i use my pictures and selct add as background and also selct use walpaper in psp menus it works but if i change my memory card it looses the walpaper :(

the way i had it set before everything messed up no matter what card i had in it still had same walpaper even after formating memory card so only thing i can think of is i somehow placed the walpaper pic in the psps flash some how

any ideas how i can do this would be much appreciated as i have instructions on my pc somewhere but finding it will takes ages
