i read a topic on this already but i apologize, i still need some clarification.

i convert my dvds from divx and avi using DiVxtoDVD and i open the file in DVDShrink and during the preview mode, it plays fine. but as soon as i burn it and try to play it on a regular DVD player, it starts in the middle and the beginning is at the end.

someone earlier mentioned Nero 8 was the problem and suggested uninstalling it. my question is, if i delete Nero 8, are there any other burning programs that DVDShrink recognizes in the window following hitting the Backup! button. i had other programs before getting Nero and DVDShrink wouldn't recognize them. it prompted me with a hyperlink to download Nero 8 and that obviously isn't working.

any suggestions? thanks a lot.
