i am running mIRC like the guide suggested, now the guide's author is saying that it's crap and to get something better........suggestions on something better?

Well, personal preference really weighs in a lot with scripts, you gotta try some out and stick with what works for you :-) (Praetor uses Invision)

where can TKO get invision, so as to try it and possibly like it like praetor? TKO wonders

bahh Invision.. Phooey lol.. Excursion script all the way! Alot more customizable more flexible not to mention its updated more then twice a yr lol.
Anyway, as already said, best script can only be decided by you.. think what do you want out of any script? fserver support, xdcc server support/ability,mp3 playback etc. Best bet is expirment with different scripts till you find the one that suits your needs

mIRC by itself is trash lmao. Id rather use Invision over mIRC by itself. Even better , Excursion over them both. whats the name of that other windows IRC client? there is more then mIRC out there, now if I could remember what the other ones called Id be sset :snickers:

hmmm, not sure if i know which one you are talking about. I've always loved excursion over any other, except maybe torment hellscript, and acid, and extreme, and showdown, and prowler, and pheonix, and... oh sorry, there are just so many out there :)
