My Wii (Jap) settings cannot be accessed but instead connecting to Opera. However, am not connected to the net. Is there a way to download a firmware and update the Wii so that i can access the settings again?

do ur games still work - if so u have semi bricked ur wii

u will have to wait for a game from ur region with a newer update on it to try and fix it

some of the games are working but some are not. I just got a Super Mario Galaxy (backup copy though from torrent) and it's not working. It has updated the firmware but that comes with it but there's a japanese message that came out after the update and the games is not starting... The message comes with a ..... 001.. As for the other characters, i can't understand
