Hello all, I'm trying to convert a MKV file containing x264 video and 5.1 640kbps AC3 audio.

I have tried ConvertXtoDVD and the output was great except there were black frames inserted into the video, which made the video constantly flash during play back.

I figured it might be the program so I did some searching and I found the guide here and the program AVI2DVD, so I gave that a shot using CCE SP 2.67 which also turned out good but it had the same problem as the version I did with ConvertX.

The video is 23.976 FPS so pulldown should work properly so I'm not sure where the problem lies.

Also another thing is that in AVI2DVD I had the audio set to 448kbps but the finished version was still in 640kbps, is this something to be concerned about with compatibility with DVD players or will it play that high of a bitrate on audio?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
