I thought you said SONY makes rubbish, yet you own an PSP and a PS3.
Getting back to the question, there is a setting in your network settings on your PS3 to turn it on/of via your PSP,just turn it of and you should be fine.

You should have said that the PS3 is turning itself on and of without you using remote play or without you pressing any buttons on your PSP,get SONY to change it for a new one.

Its not a router problem fanboy i opened port 9293 ,80 ,443,3478,3479,3658,5223 turned on DMZ ,UPnP nothing worked But in the last day or so i called Sony got to talk to someone who speaks eng and he told me how to set it up the right way for NAT Type 2 , Remote play. 2 days now and NO PROBLEM'S it took two weeks & 2 playstation 3's to get it right so YES i would say it's SONY'S problem!!!! So anyway im gonna share the settings with you all. Go in you router setting. In the address bar type 192.168.1.1 if it not on turn on UPnP save it & unplug router for a min ok next turn on your PS3 go to Network Settings Internet Connection Settings (wired connection) if you got a wired connection Select custom Go right until you get to the page that says" Select the operation mode of the selected device. and choose manual settings. Now continue until you get to the page with all of the numbers on it (presets are all zeros)enter 192.168.1.250 for IP adress then Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 then Default Gateway 192.168.1.1 then Enter your Primary DNS 4.2.2.2 then Enter your Secondary DNS 4.2.2.3
Go to the right until you get to the screen that says "press X to save" do so, and press "test connection dont forget to to turn on UPnP on this screen also
BAM !!!! IT WORKS

Jason2008,there is no need to speak like that,NinReznor is not a fan boy,hes a VERY smart guy and was just trying to help you.And if you look through the threads he posted a very good tutorial on how to put your ps3 in a dmz.
I dont think you deserve help if your going to treat people that way.
Also by what youve wrote it wasnt Sonys fault or the PS3s fault,it was yours.

I think your a very nasty person Jason2008,most people here also own an XBOX 360,i know not everyone has to use dmz but some do,also your statement saying that it was simple setting to get your PS3 to work right proves it was your fault because of your inability to undersand. Also didnt you say you had to change settings on your ROUTER.So that means it was a problem with the settings on your ROUTER and not a problem with the PS3.
Im always happy to help people and so are a few others on Afterdawn, but i will not reply to another thread you make because you arnt very appreciative of the help you get.
