what are CSO files suppost to be opened with??

What do you mean opened with?

If you mean how do you play them then you play them the same as an ISO.

A CSO file is just a compressed ISO file to save space.

So place it in the ms0:/ISO folder and run from Game Menu Memory Stick.

Well the problem is when i downloaded my first CSO file i accidentally clicked on open with windows media player now every CSO file i download opens with windows media playing. I want know what a CSO file is suppost to be opened with.???

you don't open them on a pc, they are run in the ISO folder on the psp

however, if the file association annoys you then go into a folder and go to file types and delete the association, but apart from the wmp iocon this has no other consequences for you

But when i put a CSO file in the ISO file it does'nt come up on psp?

make sure the name of the .CSO is not too long and doesn't contain '.'

also make sure they are in folder ms0:/ISO

thnx alot it worked. But when i start the game a little box comes up and keeps turning around i think this is the loading screen but it stays on the screen for ages and it dont acctually go in to the game. what shall i do?

hey one more problem has popped up once again :( i have one ISO file on my memory stick and one CSO the ISO is super smash tennis which works fine and the CSO Socom navy seals 2 and when i start a mission on it it goes to the loading screen then the psp turns off.???
