help i have a mod chip matrick it has been working fine for 8 months and now it comes up with a menu we cant get out of it it starts with infinity configurration menu
ps2 screen fix : colour
y screen fix : off
psx screenfix :on next to this one is a red dot we cant move the dot or do any thing with it there are a few more but at the end it says to press start to save settings witch we do but it comes up the same can any one help its school holidays help

It sounds like the chip is corrupt. I would reflash the chip. Do an internet search for "flashing Matrix Infinity Mod Chip" and you should find a few links to help you create a flash update disk. Toxic .41 I think is the latest hacked bios.

Once you have created your flash disk, Power up your PS2 and wait 2 seconds, press power/reset again, wait 2 seconds, press power/reset a third time, and your PS2 should load the normal Playstation 2 boot up screen..." Sony Entertainment..." What you have just done is started the console in backup mode. Pressing Power/Reset three times waiting 2 seconds in between each press of the button. Insert your flash disk and follow the onscreen instructions.
