Yesterday on the 11th of january, i was playing my xbox360 and i had been getting these two red lights at the top of the xbox (My xboxis laid up as the eject button would be at the top of the xbox.
Anyway i was playing call of duty 4 and the console turnt off, but before this the disk drive shot out with the game still spining obviously it stopped so i restarted my xbox360 and it would not close the drive so i pushed in the drive still it would not eject. ive turnt on my xbox and every time it has had the POWER BUTTON flashing green. I do not know what to do

any ideas????????????????????????

2 red lights come up when your system has overheated, the heat the gpu heatsink, which is directly below the dvd drive, could have damaged the components of the drive, hence the reason why it malfunctioned and the disc tray opened and the disk flew out. If the green power light keeps blinking now, there is definitely something up with the drive, what you should do, is use a pin to manualyl eject the drive, once you have done that, push the drive in half way, then use slightly more force to push it in the rest of the way, so that the tray causes the mechanism inside to rise allow the drive to start reading a disc, at this point, if the green light is still blinking, then something is definitely gone wrong with it. Post back with results will try to help from there. Is your box still in warranty?

Yer its still blinking, ive tried the manual like you said. And it worked for about half an hour it all started again, my box still is in warienty SO ive sent it to microsoft there replacing the drive.
Its gonna be a couple of days.
ill keep updating.
