hi everybody, ive owned a pal wii since jan last year n put a wii key in as soon as it was available everything works on it, but i havnt upgraded the firmware lately, the latest game we have is sonic n mario olympics so i dont know the firmware were on at moment..


my question is, if we want smg is it safe to upgrade to wiikey firmware 1.9g and use 1.3 setup disc, i noticed that wiikey.cn doesnt work anymore, and people seem to have lots of problems after upgrading, and im of the opinion of if it isnt broke dont fix it

i know there will come a time when i will have to relent if we want new games to work but am i just being paranoid

I updated my wiikey very easy. SMG have new protection on it, that is why you need a 1.9g to play it. I was worry too, I never updated anything before, but Rafadawn did a great job explaining how to update your wii.
