So far i have bought two sony 8gb memory sticks for my psp but the both of them have only been able to hold about 4gb of memory off the two of them, can the psp not hold 8gb or have it been fake memory sticks i have bought? My firmware is 3.71 M33-3.

go to game press triangle, it says unknow magicgate its fake, probs a fake 8gb and really is 4, whats your firmware

If it says Unkown or Unsupported under Magicgate the stick is fake.

This is a hard lesson to learn. Cheaper doesn't always mean better. Always buy your Memory Sticks from a retail store. Stay away from Ebay when buying memory Sticks and Batteries.
