I've said it in another post. I think you just go to recovery menu (cold boot while holding r trigger) and click the run recovery/eboot.pbp or whatever it says.

yeah hes right go into your recovery and go to PSP/Game/Recovery/E.Boot.PBP make sure that you have the recovery folder and that should downgrade you to 1.5. to find the recovery folder just "Google" it.
