I'm a complete linux newb. I just recently switched from YDL to Ubuntu 7.1 Gutsy Gibbon because I've heard many great things about Ubuntu. I noticed that it has bluetooth support. I followed a tutorial on how to get the sixaxis to work wirelessly in linux. It shows up as a bonded bluetooth device but does not work. What am I doing wrong? Also how do I pair my bluetooth headset to linux? If anyone with any experience in this matter could help I would be very grateful.

Theres a .deb package in that thread that will patch the kernel with wifi, apparently the 2.10 update disabled the wifi in the 2.6.23 kernel.

theres a guide to getting the bluetooth sixaxis working with snes9x here:

No my problem is a little different. I have the controller paired. When I use JScalibrator it sees the controller but none of the buttons work. It is paired, connected and bonded.
