when 3.80 M33 release, i try to update my psp but when i read the instruction i can't update..if i renamed the EBBOT.PBP the file shows coruppted.plz help me the right guide in order for me to update my 3.80 to 3.80 M33 psp.thnkssss

you can't update from official to custom straight. you need to use pandora's battery and universal unbricker v3 to get 3.71 m33-2. then you can update to 3.80 m33.

i am currently running 3.40 0ea software on a psp im having trouble playing 1 of the games the man in the shop says i need to download newer software so i have downloaded psp 380 fw how do i go about puting it on the psp do i need a loader if so can any one point me in the direction and will a normal usb lead be able to do the job.

I would recommend you not to update to 3.80m33 as it has alot of bugs in it and even 3.80m33-5 is still buggy >_<
The Best and most stable firmware is 3.71m33-4 You'll get popsloader, CWcheat etc. for it :)
3.90m33 too is stable but till date no popsloader has been released for it :) [popsloader is juz useful for increasing compatibility for psx games on the PSP, so if you don't play psx games, then you are free to go to this firmware) ^_^

okies, neways you cannot directly update from 3.40 OE-A to 3.71m33 (or 3.80m33 or 3.90m33) >_<
You'll first have to update your PSP to 3.52m33-4 and then to 3.71m33 or higher :)
