I have some .mpg files that play fine in VLC but won't open in Final Cut Pro or DVD Studio Pro. MPEG Append opens and starts to work on them but then just stops. I am running OS X 10.3.1 on a G-4 Dual Processor 1 Ghz.

I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of MPEG Append but I can't seem to get it to work. I also tried opening it in OS 9.2 (not Classic). Doesn't even open.

Any thoughts on how I could get this to work? I've also tried Compressor and Cleaner to fix these files, but they won't take them either.
