I'm having a problem with audio playback while trying to play img, iso, mkv files. I use mostly Media player or media player classic to keep it simple. Everything plays properly while hooked up to my desktop speakers, but when I hook up the digital audio output to my home theatre it does not output the sound properly. I get only backround noise if any, I don't think my motherboard outputs dolby digital out of the digital output when playing only these files, avi's and xvids output dolby digital perfectly. am I missing the proper codec or is there something else I'm missing?
