I just got my Wii back from VGM, perfectly modded, playing all burned games well. (Thanks BTW) I have one problem though. When i go into my system settings my Wii says it is 3.1U which i assume is the latest firmware, and im pretty sure VGM updated my wiikey to 1.9g. The problem is this. I have the Downloaded Prominent release of metroid prime 3, which says it is NTSC-U, but when i put it in it asks to update my Wii. Isnt MP3 like version 2.2u firmware or something? Why would it be initializing a system update? if i click yes, will it realize that i have a newer firmware and not bother updateing? I dont wanna brick my wii, please help.

BTW, i know MP3 has been discussed to death on here, but i didnt think it would need to update if i had the latest firmware.

It's just an update for the game- not the Wii's firmware. You will need to update in order to play.
