Hi, can anyone tell me if there is anyway to play a BluRay file on a regular laptop without it freezing? I downloaded a BluRay movie but when I play it on my laptop it keep freezing on me. Thanks for the help.

what are you trying to play the file with? vlc player will play allmost any file, also how new is your laptop? i have a dell 1501 dual core 2.0 2gb ram no problems at all, also is the file 720 or 1080?

yeah i'm playing it on vlc. i'm playing a 1080p. I have a toshiba satellite 1.67GHz and 2GB of RAM.
