Is there anyone else having sound stutter & speed issues on 3.80M-2 while playing PES 2007?

(cpu clock xmb/game are on 333/166)

Weird, I never had any problem before on any custom firmware. Could that be because of the CSO compression?

Same by me. Have no clue what else could cause that. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

When i was playing GTA: liberty city stories, it lagged =/, i would usuallly use irshell and toogle cpu, but irshell doesnt support 3.80m33-2 or 3.80m33. so i decided i had to decompress the cso file in order to play lagless. Less space but better gameplay.

I converted the CSO to ISO and the issues decreased. But this never happened on the previous custom firmwares. Except some of the games like GTA (which are only a couple of games that I hold on ISO in my whole 110gb CSO psp archive). I think there is a slight bug in 3.80M33-2.

As i said though it works perfect for me on 3.80m33-2 so i don't think it's a bug in the firmware

I know. But it's weird while there were no mistakes on upgrading the system to 3.80M33-2. All the necessary items are downloaded from the trusted sites, no install issues, no config issues. Maybe board differences, I don't know.

I have had this issue with lagging games and fixed it by formatting the ms to fat instead of fat 32, your psp reads fat faster than fat32 hence doesnt lag, here is the link to do it http://www.projectpsp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=358

Yes i have used a similar program FAT32 to FAT, Worked well just have to be careful not to format card by PSP otherwise it reverts back to FAT32. Cured the lag issues i had and made a Fake card pretty good (for a Change)

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

Just seen a thread on a bug fix for slow memory cards, something about iso's not running properly with Sony np9660 driver,
etkno maybe thats whats wrong with yours. Try updating to 3.80m33-4

I did sn0wman1, thanks. But it still continues, I thought it was fixed on m33-3 but before I tried that I saw a new patch (m33-4). I even formatted the memcard again to FAT16 but I realized that the PSP is already formatting it as FAT16. Anyway it didn't work, will try now the m33-driver instead of Sony's np9660. Hope this works.

It's about the whole memcard~read/write~accessing process, I guess.

Alright. It's the Sony np9660 driver. I just switched to the M33 driver and it (PES 2007) works as it has always worked before. No stutter, no glitches and no speed issues anymore. But sure it's still odd that this happened after I upgraded to 3.80M33-X.
