I have been searching and trying to fixed my problem for long time and I found this forum so I will give a try as to what my problem is.
From the begining so you will get nice picture of my problem.
I encode movies, divx, my home dv to svcd using DVD2SVCD(with cce 2.67)and I end up with bin and cue, I used cdrwin, clone with deamon and nero. ASPI drivers(4.6) are installed. Fresh windows xp pro installed with all the drivers update it.
My problem is when play in standalone dvd the movie plays about 70% very smooth and sudently is start to act strange, is stoping and going and it stops after few minuts.
when played on my pc the same mpeg file is smooth to the end of the movie. I have burned movies at different speeds anywher from x 2 to x20, I used all different cd media such as Maxwell, hp , sony and the crapy ones,same problem. At first I thought my burner is bed , so I bought a new one, same problem.Every time I burned a cd I did not get any error msg.
I checked in Advance System Information, Error log couple of errors maybe this is related to problem.
-The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block.
-The driver detected a controller error on \Device\CdRom1.
os xp pro w/sp1
Pentium IV 2.4 hyper
memory 512 ddr
Nvidia geforce 5200
cd rw Optorite cw4802
dvd rom samsung sd-612
